Every IKUISTA bike has at least 2 years of warranty against manufacturing and material defects. Register the bike within 60 days of delivery and the frame and fork cover extends to 5 years. The Extended Warranty adds 10 years of frame and fork cover for 199 EUR.

What are the warranty tiers?

Tier Cover Condition
Standard At least 2 years from delivery Automatic. Local statutory rights apply in full.
Registered 5 years on frame and rigid fork Register the frame number within 60 days of delivery
Extended 10 years on frame and rigid fork 199 EUR, bought with the bike or within 60 days of delivery
Second owner Remaining frame warranty transfers First owner registered within 60 days. New owner registers the transfer within 30 days.

How do I register my bike?

Enter the frame number on the registration page within 60 days of delivery. The frame number is under the bottom bracket. Photograph it when the bike arrives so you have it even if the bike is on a trainer or in a bag.

What does the warranty cover?

  • Structural or material defects in the frame and fork.
  • Faults in components supplied by IKUISTA that come from a proven manufacturing error.
  • Repair or replacement with parts of equal or greater value.

What does it not cover?

Normal wear on chains, cassettes, brake pads, tyres, cables, grips and bar tape. It also excludes accident damage and misuse. For accident damage see crash replacement.

Which protection applies to which problem?

Problem What helps
A crack or defect that comes from manufacturing or materials Warranty
Structural damage from a crash Crash replacement, 20 % off the replacement part
The riding position does not feel right 30-day Fit Guarantee
You change your mind about the whole bike 14-day right of withdrawal on standard-configuration bikes
Worn chain, tyres or pads Normal maintenance, paid by the owner

Can the warranty move to a second owner?

Yes, if the conditions in the table are met and the frame is in original condition. This helps resale value. Read about IKUISTA Renewed too.

Is the Extended Warranty worth buying?

That depends on how long you keep the bike and how you ride. The Extended Warranty costs 199 EUR and adds 10 years of frame and fork cover. You can buy it with the bike or within 60 days of delivery. It makes most sense if you plan to keep the bike for many years or want cover that can pass to the next owner. It does not cover accident damage or normal wear. If you plan to sell after two or three years, the 5-year cover from registration may be enough.

How do I keep the warranty in good order?

  1. Register the frame number within 60 days.
  2. Keep the proof of purchase and the order confirmation.
  3. Use the bike as intended for its type and follow the guidance that comes with it.
  4. Keep records of service. All parts are standard sizes, so any well-stocked bike shop in Europe can service the bike.

How do I make a warranty claim?

  1. Stop using the bike if safety may be affected.
  2. Contact us via the Help Center.
  3. Send proof of purchase, the frame number, videos of the defect and a clear description.
