A frameset is the frame and fork on their own, without a groupset, wheels or cockpit. It is the right starting point if you already have parts you want to keep, or if you want to specify every component yourself.
Standard fittings throughout
IKUISTA frames use a UDH derailleur hanger, a threaded bottom bracket and an ordinary headset. Cable routing, seatpost and bar clamp are all standard sizes. Nothing about the frame limits which groupset, wheels or cockpit you can fit, now or in five years.
Why that matters on a frameset
A frameset is a long-term purchase. Proprietary fittings are the thing most likely to end that relationship early, because a discontinued hanger or a brand-specific seatpost can retire an otherwise sound frame. Standard fittings mean the frame outlives the parts hanging off it.
Bought direct from the workshop
Framesets ship from Tampere, Finland, with no dealer margin in the price. The frame carries a two-year structural warranty, five years once you register it, and ten years with the paid Extended Warranty.
