Chainstay protector that shields your frame from chain slap and scratches. A moulded TPU strip that fits over the chainstay and takes the hits the chain would otherwise leave on the paint.

The Valois Chainstay Protector covers the chainstay where the chain strikes it on rough ground. The TPU is tough and has enough give to absorb the impact and resist scratching, so chain slap does not chip the finish. On a carbon frame, that protects the clearcoat and the carbon underneath.

It fixes on with a 3M adhesive backing. Clean the stay, peel, and press it on. No tools. It comes in black, white, olive green and orange, so it can match or contrast the frame. The strip is 235 mm long and suits chainstays up to 20 mm wide. It weighs 21.5 grams.

Stops chain slap marking your frame
